Just wanted to say this worked for my Comcast internet connection. Didn't have to 30/30/30 reset the dd-wrt linksys (except for when I initially flashed with the dd-wrt firmware, of course). What I did was this: 1) With the linksys on, I unplugged the ethernet connection to the cable modem 2) Performed a 30/30/30 hard reset of the modem. Comcast will take a variety of prefixes. The default PD is 64; the Macbook is probably getting a 128-bit NA rather than a PD.
